How it started
The one skincare step everyone skips
Ask anyone why they don't wear sunscreen every day, and you'll hear the same things: it's greasy, it's heavy, it stings — and worst of all, it makes your makeup pill and slide off by noon.
We didn't think that had to be true. Sunscreen is the most important step in a skincare routine — so why does it always feel like the one working against everything else you put on your skin?
That question became Sunny Joy. Starting in 2023, we spent nearly two years working with Korean formulation lab REBOM Co., Ltd. to build a mineral sunscreen that absorbs clean, layers smoothly under makeup, and actually treats your skin while it protects it.

The formula
Nearly two years of getting it right
We partnered with REBOM Co., Ltd. in Korea — a manufacturer with deep expertise in advanced skincare formulation. Round after round, we refined the texture, the finish, and the way it wears under makeup, until it felt exactly right.
The result is Health Canada-approved (NPN 80140988): a mineral sunscreen that genuinely earns the name Mineral UV Shield+. Not just protection — a full skincare step.
